    Ahhh.... Che ricordi da ragazzino quindicenne !! La "fucilata"' era proprio così ! Lo so, non avrei potuto entrare in sottostazione, ma Papà era uno dei più noti e richiesti responsabili del collaudo di trasformatori e comunque eravamo tutti per forza al sicuro in camera di manovra. Una vita in mezzo alle centrali di tutto il mondo. Oggi avrebbe avuto 99 anni 😢

    Thanks for clear explanation and all details. I have question regarding this subject can I depend on excitation current result during TTR test ? If we have result zero current in one phase What is the possible reason? Also we did the winding resistance test and all phase give us reading within the limit.

      Dear @youssofasiry7233, thank you for your reply and the interest. Yes, you can depend on the excitation current result during the Transformer Turns Ratio (TTR) test. The excitation current is voltage-dependent and non-linear, and it can provide valuable information about the transformer's condition. If you are measuring zero current in one phase, it could indicate a turn-to-turn short circuit fault in that phase. The excitation current results will rise significantly on the affected phase if such a fault is present. On the other hand, it could also be a problem with the measurement device or the connection. If you have some questionable results, please send an e-mail to support@omicronenergy.com who are happy to help you with your inquiry. As for the winding resistance test, it is done to verify internal connections and to detect any open or poor connections. If all phases are giving readings within the limit, it suggests that the transformer's internal connections are in good condition. However, keep in mind that this test is very sensitive to temperature, and results must be corrected to standard temperature. Best regards, your OMICRON team

Lors des essais de disjoncteurs, la surchauffe des bobines de déclenchement et de commutation peut être provoquée par des courants de circulation élevés. Ces courants peuvent générer une chaleur excessive, entraînant des dommages importants. Il peut également arriver que l'alimentation de la bobine soit interrompue et qu'elle continue à être alimentée même après le déclenchement du disjoncteur. Cette situation devrait normalement être évitée grâce aux contacts auxiliaires. For offline PD testing, if there are no PD present, the lowest measurable value is the general noise from the surrounding and the source at test voltage level. A blocking impedance helps to reduce the noise level from the source to test most sensitive. The transformer is a 300 MVA transformer with horizontal 220 kV and 110 kV bushings. The UHF PD measurements were made with the UHF 800 using a UHF drain valve sensor. Si echamos un vistazo al manual del SEL-587-0, -1 (Código de fecha 20151105) podemos encontrar lo siguiente: 'El IRT1 se genera sumando las magnitudes de las corrientes de los bobinados en una simple suma escalar y dividiendo por dos.' Przy pierwszym wyzwoleniu (I>) uruchamiany jest licznik czasu i monitorowany jest przepływ prądu. W przypadku, gdy prąd nadal płynie i upłynie określony czas (w tym przykładzie ReTrip = 150 ms), wyzwalane jest drugie polecenie wyzwolenia, sygnał ten może być użyty dla dodatkowej cewki wyzwalającej dla tego samego wyłącznika. Jeśli prąd nadal płynie i upłynie dłuższy czas (w tym przykładzie LRW = 250 ms), wyzwolone zostanie polecenie awarii wyłącznika i zadziała zabezpieczenie wyższego poziomu.       Hi @travellerquotes9076, thank you for your comment and interest. You can predefine everything with an offline device in your office, i.e. define which CMC outputs should go to which relay inputs. Then, onsite, you only have to connect the CMC with your PC and choose it from the available device list. Afterwards, you can wire up the CMC, do a wiring check and perform your tests.       Уважаемый @user-mq2wg3mf1x, Благодарим Вас за комментарий и проявленный интерес. Для выхода 3 кА Вам потребуется 3 CPC и 3 CP CB2 (CPC Current Booster). Синхронизировав их, можно получить ток не более 6 кА. 6 кА. Однако зажимы "крокодил" в видеоролике были подключены к входу CPC 100 10A, который используется для измерения тока на вторичной обмотке ТТ. Спасибо и наилучшие пожелания, ваша команда OMICRON

    A very good number of utilities are opting Station bus digitalization, but why there is no takers for Process Bus digitalization???

      Hi @sreeram3247, thank you for your interest in our video and in general into the topic of IEC61850 Station & Process Bus. Same as for Station Bus, several Utilities aim to use Process Bus in their substations. It may be a Pilot-Substation or an already implemented system. We cannot serve you with a number on how widely it is in use, but it is picking up and more and more utilities plan to integrate it into their substations.
